ExWrist

This represents a rehabilitation system employing an exoskeleton-type robotic design. The robot's mechanism is worn on the wrists and is used for physical therapy to aid in the recovery of wrist functionality. It is designed for patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, spasticity, paralysis, or muscle weakness in the wrists and is prescribed by specialized medical professionals for treatment. Additionally, this rehabilitation robot offers bi-manipulation training.

Feature

  • Used for physical therapy training to assist in restoring functionality in the wrist.
  • Can use the opposite arm effectively to assist in training the weaker arm or Bi-manipulation operation.
  • No Backlash / Backdrivable for safety training.
  • The robotic mechanism consists of two parts: the powered mechanism called the Slave wrist and the unpowered mechanism called the Master wrist, working in a Bi-manipulation manner.
